PRINT AD IDEA:

I believe Droga are behind the “No Bollocks” campaign for Newcastle Brown Ale. It’s a great line and nicely “campaignable.”

However, I did get into a light spat with someone on Facebook over this. Problem I have is that the brand is a bit bollocks. Newcastle is no longer made in Newcastle it’s made in Yorkshire.

It’s like saying “new York Bagels. Authentic.” and they are being made in Chicago.

I know business buy outs are the way of the world but it was sad to see Newcastle Brewery close down (and the much much needed blue collar jobs go with it).

That said, I’ve had a lifelong relationship with the product. Some of which was positive other times, not so much.

I did have fun pitching a monumentally insane idea to the client once. Reviewing the idea, I still think its one of my favourites. Droga, get in touch :)
