I was once asked to come up with “an audacious PR stunt, the world could not ignore. Something big!”
About once a year I get asked about projecting on the moon (stop!) but I knew they were after something ridiculous along those lines.
The idea:
Make the top 5 mountains on earth taller.
Easy!
I was hoping this would be a stunt to get rising ocean levels top of mind as well as create coverage and buzz around the supporting brand.
Either that, or it could be seen as the worst example of brandalism on earth.
How it Would Work:
5 teams would climb the 5 highest mountains roughly at the same time.
Each team carries a 2ft tall stone with a logo or message sand blasted on to it.
This stone would be placed at the top of the mountain and viola! The mountain is now 2ft higher!
